This site compares 30 guided food, coffee, wine, beer and neighborhood tours in Seattle, and questions, corrections and suggestions are welcome. This page explains what to write about, what to include and where to take problems that a comparison site cannot solve.
What To Write About
Useful messages cover the tours themselves: a price that looks wrong, a tour description that has changed, a group size cap that no longer matches the listing, or a start point that has moved. Corrections about practical facts are also welcome, such as transit fares, market hours or climate figures. If something on a page contradicts the tour listing, that is exactly the kind of thing worth reporting.
What To Include
Messages are easier to act on when they contain the following:
- The page or tour name the message is about.
- What looks incorrect, and what the listing currently says if you have it open.
- A link or source for any corrected fact, where one exists.
- A reply address if you want a response.
What The Site Cannot Do
This is a comparison and information site. It does not run, sell or operate any tour, and it has no access to bookings or customer records. The following are outside what it can do:
- Change, cancel or rebook a tour you have paid for.
- Issue refunds or check whether a payment went through.
- Answer questions about a specific operator's schedule, staff or availability.
- Take tour bookings directly.
- Give a rating or review on your behalf.
Where To Take Booking Problems
Booking problems go to the platform where you paid. All 30 listings on this site state free cancellation with a full refund if cancelled at least 24 hours before the start time, and the refund window is honoured on the listing where you made the payment. If a tour was cancelled by the operator, or a voucher or meeting instruction looks wrong, the booking page or its help center is the right place to start, because the platform holds your order and payment details.
The Address
Write to info@seattlefoodtours.org. Please do not send payment details, card numbers or copies of identification; email is not a secure channel for them, and no booking information is needed to report a problem with a page. Include enough context to identify the tour or fact in question, and keep in mind that replies may take a little time.
